This program focuses on families within North Allegheny who are struggling during the holiday season. This special program has existed for several years, but has grown tremendously over the past few years. Last year, we were able to buy & wrap gifts for close to 150 North Allegheny kids, but there are more! TAILGATE & GAME DAY TIMELINE OF EVENTS:
Pre-Game Tunnel:
All elementary students in grades 2 through 5 are invited to participate in our pre-game tunnel for the football players’ entrance onto the field. BWE students will meet our PFA volunteers near the scoreboard side of the home bleachers by 7:05pm- LOOK FOR THE VOLUNTEERS HOLDING THE BRADFORD WOODS ELEMENTARY SIGNS.
The parade starts promptly at 7:10pm. The parade will walk around the track area and enter the field by the Baierl Center at 7:20pm.
After the football team enters the field through the tunnel created by the kids at 7:26pm, students will be directed back to the far entrance by the scoreboard to meet their parents by 7:29pm.
BWE PARENTS: Please be sure to stand by BWE's volunteer holding our school sign- NOT by the fence! When parents reunite with their students right at the fence, it becomes very congested and chaotic, slowing down the process of safely getting the students off of the field and prevents the start of the game. Thank You!
