North Allegheny has now provided BWE parents and the community with the return school plan. Information on family options and FAQs can be found on the NA Return to School Page.


The BWE PFA wants all parents to know that the we are here to support all BWE parents as they make the difficult decision on which return to school option to choose. If you choose the in-person option or the NA Cyber option, we will all continue to be one BWE community, and we encourage all families to be part of the PFA. 


The BWE PFA 2020-2021 Directory will include an option for BWE NA Cyber students that want to be included. This will allow our NA Cyber students and parents to connect with other BWE NA Cyber families and the greater BWE family community.



BWE Yearbook Update 

We are so sorry, but we still haven't received any update from Lifetouch regarding the delivery of the BWE Yearbooks.
For those who previously placed a yearbook order, Lifetouch has advised us that due to the Corona Virus, they have been operating at 30% capacity with social distancing guidelines in place. Thus, the shipment of the yearbooks has been continues to be delayed. Once we have been notified of shipment and provided a delivery date, we will devise a plan for distribution. Anyone who purchased a yearbook will be notified by email as to the time(s) and place they may be picked up.

New 2020-2021 PFA Board Members

Historically, the PFA holds its last meeting of the year in May, at which time the new Board members for the upcoming school year are voted upon. Due to the Covid-19 school closure, and since all Board positions are uncontested, we have decided to forgo the traditional vote and instate the new Board members now. It is our pleasure to introduce your 2020-2021 PFA Board:

Glow Run Fundraiser Update 

As we wrap up this school year, the PFA wanted to provide an update with regard to the Glow Run Fundraiser proceeds. Prior to school closing in March, Mrs. Eimiller created a “Glow Run Committee”, comprised of several BWE staff members, to help oversee how the proceeds will be distributed. The committee has already determined some of the Special Areas and S.T.E.A.M. items which will initially be purchased. The committee has also proposed a BWE Makerspace. This hands-on, interactive, creative STEM space was to take shape over the summer. However, with redistricting on hold, this new space will now be unveiled in the Fall of 2021.
All remaining funds will be used for Specials Areas and S.T.E.A.M. related purchases as decided upon by the appointed Glow Run committee members. We thank you for a wonderful year and for all of your support!
